Instructor positions are available for technicians with solid technical skills who aspire to train for a position as an instructor. Applicants must be ASE certified, have a minimum of five years field experience and possess a genuine desire to work with young people.

ATC offers an attractive/competitive compensation package including a profit sharing 401 K program. Training programs are available for all inexperienced applicants.

The Career Services Department (CSD) is committed to assisting students in obtaining a rewarding career consistent with their individual preferences and objectives. Through an alliance with the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP) graduates are afforded employment opportunities with 250 new car and truck franchises within the five county area.

ATC’s Career Service Department provides the following services:

employment duringftheir enrollment
sparkplug bullet Conducts seminars on career development focusing
on job search techniques, resume and cover letter
writing and interviewing and job retention skills

term to ascertain their need for employment services
sparkplug bullet Contacts prospective employers, reviews graduates'
resumes and assists in scheduling employment interviews
sparkplug bullet Assists students in obtaining letters of recommendation
sparkplug bullet Maintains a listing of employment opportunities
sparkplug bullet Surveys alumni to determine the nature of their
positions and the success of their training

Class schedules are designed to allow students to work part-time while attending school. The school works closely with the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP), Ford Motor Company area dealers and other automotive businesses for the purpose of assisting students in obtaining part-time work. These jobs provide the student with valuable first hand experience as well as help defray expenses. For more information contact the Director of Career Services.

 

EMPLOYERS SEEKING TO HIRE
STUDENTS AND GRADUATES


Automotive Training Center (ATC) has designed a placement program that is simple, accurate, and best of all, free. Employers are required to complete an “Employer Profile” of their organization that is entered into the Career Services database. In addition, ATC students complete a “Student Profile” that is also entered into the same database.

When you (the employer) have a need for students or graduates, simply contact the Career Services Department (CSD) either by phone or email and a profile match is selected. The CSD will contact you to coordinate dates and times for interviewing.

If you are interested in this program, complete the “Employer Profile” and submit. If changes need to be made to your existing profile, complete a new profile and submit.
