High School Senior Scholarship Programs

ATC's Annual High School Senior Scholarship Program From Left to Right: Michael Chapman - Chief Operation Officer of Chapman Auto Group in Horsham PA, Jay Haenn - President of Lansdale Chrysler Jeep in Lansdale PA, Bryan Cronin - 2010 1st Place Scholarship Winner, Beth Beans Gilbert - Vice President of Fred Beans Automotive Group in Doylestown PA, and Kevin Mazzucola - Executive Director of ADAGP in Norristown PA.

ATC is always looking for tomorrow’s brightest technicians!

Every year from October through April, Automotive Training Center conducts an annual High School Senior Scholarship Program.

If you are an active high school student, you’re eligible to participate in the program. Ideal candidates show a high level of aptitude and desire to succeed in the fields of automotive, hi-performance, diesel, collision repair and marine service technology.

Recipients of the scholarships can choose to enroll in any of ATC’s full-time (day) programs listed in the school catalog. The value may vary depending on the tuition rates in effect at the time of the award.

Initial judging of the scholarship participants is based on the results of a written test. A distinct group of high achievers will be invited back to the campus to compete as finalists. An independent scholarship committee will then interview each finalist and determine the final scholarship recipients.

The value and number of scholarships for the ATC High School Scholarship Program for each campus are:

• 100% tuition–2 per year      • 50% tuition–1 per year     • 25% tuition–2 per year

In addition to the ATC High School Scholarship Program, the school contributes many scholarships to other organizations working with high school seniors. Each organization sets it own standards for the award of the scholarships and ATC has no input as to who receives the scholarships. The organizations that are beneficiaries of ATC scholarships are:

  • Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP)
  • Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association (GNYADA)
  • Greater Lehigh Valley Automobile Dealers Association (GLVADA)
  • New Jersey Cooperative Education Association (NJCEA)
  • New Jersey Marine Trades Association (MTA/NJ)
  • SkillsUSA PA Council, District 11 Championships
  • SkillsUSA (PA, NJ, DE) Council, State Championships
  • Imagine America Foundation (IAF)
  • Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills

Students selected to receive more than one ATC sponsored scholarship may only redeem the scholarship with the highest value. Scholarships cannot be combined with any other ATC scholarship and have no cash redemption value. Please consult ATC’s School Director for additional policies and procedures regarding scholarships.
