Best Apple Picking Near Warminster, PA

Nothing says fall quite like going apple picking! Since the onset of autumn is just around the corner, Automotive Training Center decided to round up Warminster’s best local spots for pick-your-own apples.

If these farms and orchards were apples themselves, they’d be the brightest, crunchiest, sweetest, and juiciest. Check out which ones we picked and be sure to get out and support these local businesses this fall.

Snipes Farm & Education Center

Best Apple Picking Near Warminster, PASnipes Farm is committed to sustainable farming. This orchard transitioned from pesticide and synthetic sprays over the past decade and completely for the past three years. Consequently (and inconveniently for pick-your-own!) trees are very productive one year (as they were last year and three years ago), and basically rest the next. Add a late frost and drought and you get a very light apple year. There will be apples for sale from Three Springs Orchard and still plenty to do and learn.

Outdoor class is always in session at Snipes Farm! During fall harvest weekends (kicking off in late September), Snipes will host autumn fun: hayrides, pumpkins, a giant corn maze, farm animals, farm museum, cider, pies, face painting, and more!

Solebury Orchards

Solebury Orchards in New Hope is an 80-acre farm that’s been providing central Bucks County with fresh, quality produce for the past three decades.

Apple picking is already in full swing at Solebury. On Thursdays and Fridays, you can walk out to the orchard on your own to pick. On Saturdays and Sundays, complimentary wagons will take you out to and back from the apple rows.

After your return trip, make sure to stop by Solebury’s market for fresh-picked local produce and their famous apple cider. You may also want to check out the Solebury flower garden, where you can wade through waist-high blossoms to choose and cut your own special arrangement.

Solly Brother’s Farm

Opened in 1920, Solly Brother’s Farm in Ivyland, PA, offers an extensive variety of homegrown crops available in their fields for picking and for sale inside their farmers’ market.

For fall, a wide array of apples, pumpkins, squash, and eggplant are on the docket. Solly’s wide-ranging crop list is well represented in their farm store that showcases fresh produce from A to Z (or apples to zucchini!).

For a sweet treat after picking, stop by the Solly Brother’s bakery counter for a fresh-baked pie, tasty cookie, hot apple cider donut, or yummy apple dumpling.

Styer Orchard

Family-owned and -operated Styer Orchard in Langhorne, PA, offers you and your fellow pickers the chance to get out and pick your own fruits and vegetables seven months out of the year!

Apple picking has just started at Styer and soon (starting in mid-September) you’ll be able to make your picking excursion last a little longer.

Take on the Styer Orchard corn maze and participate in other kid-approved, fall-themed games and attractions. Cooks will be excited to stop into Styer’s farm stand that’s full of fresh herbs, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, and peppers for sale.

Gear Up to Apple Pick in Warminster

Apple picking is all about embracing the beauty of fall, enjoying time with family and friends, and taking home your own apple bounty to eat fresh or bake into a tasty dessert. These four farms make the experience one to remember!

Whether you’re picking, catching a scenic hayride, or stopping by quick for fresh produce, make sure to support the Warminster region’s local farms this fall.
