Marine Service Technology Program Kennett Square
The Marine Service Technology Program here at our school near Kennett Square is for students looking for a career in the marine industry. During this program, you’ll get to work with engines and parts built by Mercury Marine, Honda Marine, Yamaha Marine, and other industry leaders.
Our Marine Service Technology Program will take 40 weeks to complete. Over that time, students will take the following core courses:

Students in the Engine Repair course will learn about inboard, inboard-outboard, and outboard engines in the classroom and then get hands-on experience with each in the shop. You’ll work alongside our ASE-certified instructors who will guide you through disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling your own marine engine.
Our Marine Electrical course tackles marine batteries, alternators, and charging systems. You will also learn to create and read wiring diagrams. They act as maps that lay out each electrical connection on a boat to streamline future service and scheduled maintenance.
What Will You Learn in Marine Mechanic School?
