Marine MechanicEach day, marine mechanics work to repair inboard and outboard engines on boats of various sizes. You’ll learn all about how these engines run and what needs to be done to repair them, but you’ll also learn all about the support systems and sub-systems in each boat. This includes electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and heating.

Routine maintenance will be a large bulk of your daily work, however, there may be extensive mechanical repairs, and even repairing of fiberglass and gelcoat which require a steady hand and some time.

At our Warminster facility, you’ll have the opportunity to work on the boats you’ll see in the real world. Learning from our experienced instructors, you’ll gain the knowledge required to make informed decisions about repairs and maintenance.

Our hands-on program will see you spend plenty of time in the shop working on these engines with our experienced instructors guiding you along the way.
