All 4 Paws Rescue, Inc.

Volunteer Opportunities in Chester County, PAIf you genuinely enjoy caring for and spending time with furry friends, help All 4 Paws Rescue, Inc. in Chester Springs, PA, as a foster pet parent or an All 4 Paws operations volunteer.

Most of All 4 Paws’ foster animals are rescued from high-kill shelters, reintroduced into society, and given the life they deserve with loving families. If you’re passionate about animals, All 4 Paws always needs volunteers to help at adoption events, transport kittens and pups, and raise donation dollars. All 4 Paws and 1 for all!

To apply to volunteer or find out about making a contribution, fostering, or adopting, visit All 4 Paws’ website.

Chester County Food Bank

With a 36,000-square-foot facility and 120 distributing partner agencies, Chester County Food Bank isn’t your average food pantry. The food bank’s plethora of goods and produce make their way to those in need throughout the county’s 750-square-mile expanse.

In addition to serving those experiencing hunger with fresh and healthy food, Chester County Food Bank teaches individuals how to work toward nutritional stability and wellness through cooking classes, health clinics, and more.

How can you help Chester County Food Bank? From harvesting fruits and veggies at one of the food bank’s partnering farms to hosting your own food drive to collect donations, there’s a cornucopia of ways to get involved. Visit their volunteer portal to get started today.

Family Lives On Foundation

Volunteer Opportunities in Chester CountyWhen a loved one passes away, it’s incredibly difficult for all involved. But adults and children don’t grieve in the same way. In 1997, the founder of the Family Lives On Foundation realized this and set out to create an ongoing, steadfast support program for young children grieving the loss of a parent.

Through initiatives centered around strengthening a child’s previous memories and established family traditions, Family Lives On Foundation has changed the lives of countless children not only in the foundation’s headquarter region of Exton, PA, but across the US.

Join Team Tradition to be an advocate for these kids. Find out more about how to start your own awareness and fundraising campaign on the Family Lives On website.

Tails of the Free Rescue, Inc.

Large pet shelters often can’t give their furry residents the individualized care they need, and sick or abused pets are never adopted. Tails of the Free Rescue, Inc. is a force for good in the animal world that works to combat this. Partnered with Pet Valu stores throughout Chester County, Tails of the Free provides immediate care for abused and neglected pets as well as long-term, loving homes through adoption.

If you have your heart strings pulled every time you meet a new pet friend, volunteering with Tails of the Free is the purrrfect opportunity for you. Right now, they’re seeking help with pup and kitten care at their partner Pet Valu stores, foster care for pets prior to adoption, and kitten transport to the vet in Malvern.

To get involved, call the Pet Valu store nearest you. Ours is in the Lionville Shopping Center.

We’ve given you four fantastic Chester County organizations that are doing good for others every day. And now it’s time to get out and lend a hand!
